Care & Maintenance of Laminate

They are durable due to their innate properties but still here are few basic cares that can help you to even prolong the life of the laminates. Here are basic maintenance tips from our side:

• We should use only damp clothes to wipe out any spills
• Never over-wet the cloth to wipe the stain
• If there is a tough blot then you should use acetone with white cloth only. Then wipe the place with a damp cloth.
• Always vacuum clean your house to avoid the setting up of dirt in the spaces of laminates
• Never use any liquid agent and solutions to clean the laminate floor.
• We do not recommend using abrasive cleaners, or any kind of strong steel wool.
• Never use any kind of buffing or the polishing machines
• If you have accidentally dropped candle wax or chewing gum and it has made a stop, you should harden the spot with the help of ice. The second step should be to scrape with a light brush or a scraper with diligent care. The alternative is to scrape it with a credit card. Then, wipe the floor with a damp cotton cloth.

Here are a few checklists for you so that you make sure to keep it marked before the arrival of our workers:

• Decide who would remove the old flooring. We provide a full service to remove the old flooring.
• Decide who would move the furniture from the site to another place. Our workers can take responsibility for this but you should still remove any sophisticated, expensive and fragile material on your own.
• The general rule for the right decor is that linear tile should be parallel to the window.
• Before you allow the installation, make sure you have already measured the door clearances. Please inform it beforehand such that our team experts would calibrate their tools as per the door measurements.
• You should pain anything you want beforehand as it would avoid spoiling of the laminate that are new.

• Laminates can be directly installed on the existing floor without any much fuss. If there would be a requirement of any kind, our professionals would take care of it.
• The installer will chalk out the whole plan in his mind to calculate the kind of layout you would need for the laminate. You could see him using the chalk lines as a guide. All of this would be taken care of by our professionals.
• It is a must to prevent buckling and cupping. So we will check the moisture content beforehand.
